Exploring Hospitality & Tourism: Carolus Online Academy Students Visit Wild Dunes Resort

We’re excited to share the highlights from a fantastic in-person event at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms! Our high school students had the unique opportunity to tour the beautiful resort property, dive into the hospitality industry, and gain valuable insights into future career possibilities.

During the visit, students and their families got a chance to ask questions about internships and job opportunities, as well as interview on-site staff to learn firsthand what it’s like to work in such an exciting and fast-paced environment.

The event was led by our very own Mr. Jordan Kayser, our Hospitality and Tourism teacher, who shared his personal journey in the industry. Mr. Kayser spoke passionately about how his experiences working in hospitality have shaped his teaching approach and helped him provide real-world knowledge to his students.

Our students left inspired and motivated to explore careers in hospitality and tourism, and we hope to provide more amazing opportunities like this in the near future.
